Reblogged from Earth in black and white:
I have been reading the articles on this topic casually, because no matter how much painful the incident is I really, really don’t like to go through that girl’s and other girls like her again and again. Sorry, I am too responsive to atrocities against living being.
Indrajit, one of my priceless friends and a very kind hearted person (abodeofhorus.wordpress.com) has given some very good points about preventing these crimes (The thing I too want to happen- hanging the culprits is not the desirable solution, desirable solution is preventing these hellish experiences).
YES, I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU. REMEDY DOESN’T END AT THE HANGING OF THE CULPRIT, IT VERY MUCH LIES IN PREVENTING THE CRIMES.
and changing the mindset of the society!
It is very good to try and form what is called civil groups and neighbourhood watch.very good idea and better than doing nothing. all of us normal people are worried and sad. But, actually any normal person is likely to suddenly become a monster when he finds himself in a perticular situation. We should giv a seious thought of trying to avoid such situations
neighbourhood watch is a brilliant idea.
