A lot of my friends here, and lot of writers in other forums mull over self publishing, in place of going the traditional way (something i have started to think about more and more), I personally think there is nothing strange about trying the self publishing, if you have confidence on your own work, or you think that you will give it a try, to share your views without any interference by anyone else and will accept it if no one buys it! That is the worst thing that can happen I guess, because that work wont have any marketing team, any publishing house’s reputation to boost its sale.

Your friends, fans and relatives may buy a copy or two if they truly love your words and dont shower meaningless compliments to make you happy.
