poppy filled meadow 6.3.14 2

I have always loved red poppies, my father used to have them in our garden, he was a great gardener, used to study a lot and then had the capacity to make them come to life. There were quite a few plants in his garden that he could show off to others!

Of course poppies were not one of them, though the cops might not have been pleased, because i have heard that growing poppies is illegal, even though i doubt if that includes a small garden’s forty or fifty plants….

I remember making dolls from them, and loved their bitter sweet fragrance and above all their glorious red colour.

I will for sure love to pay a visit to this field!

Burning red rubies
or pouting mouths of
sweet fairytale creatures.

Wish you all a fabulous time ahead. Friends from cold countries, God bless you with a delightful spring…
